"A Backwards Day" video submitted for the 2012 Alaska Society for Technology in Education "Ididamovie" contest for the category "Make me laugh"
This project was completed by six 8th grade students in my middle school elective class, iMovie. I hope that my students' video makes you laugh, and gives you some ideas about how you can make a backwards movie with iMovie! Feel free to contact me if you would like to know how easy it is to create these backwards movies with your students.
iMovie created as a multi-media "thank you" to the sponsors and instructors at the 2010 "Peksulineq" Cultural Heritage Week in Tatitlek, Alaska.
This was our first iMovie project, and we have continued to create these "thank you" videos in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Please contact me if you would like to know more about this amazing week-long event to celebrate the Alaska Native cultures of Prince William Sound in Alaska. Thank you to the world's most famous Inuit band, Pamyua, for their work with community members in Tatitlek and Chenega Bay--celebrating, energizing and strengthening the cultural heritage of this area.
