Funding received from Community Organizations
- Sought and received $10,000 of funding for documentary film project about the George H. Gilson Middle School in Valdez in May, 2013. This project combined the talents of seven middle school students, local film-makers (SEED media), a teacher (myself) and a wide range of community members to create a 4-minute "trailer" for the documentary about the George H. Gilson Middle School before the school was demolished in June, 2013. We plan to complete this documentary film project in late April, 2014.
- Sought and received over $6,000 of funding for Valdez LEGO Robotics Program from Juneau Economic Development Council, United Way, Copper Valley Electric Association, Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, Petro Star, and Copper Valley Telecom in Valdez, AK from October 2011 to Dec. 2012
- Collaborated with Valdez Arts Council to obtain funding from Chugach Alaska Corporation, Tatitlek Corporation, the Valdez Museum and Alyeska Pipeline Service Company for Allison Warden and Jack Dalton's production, Time Immemorial, Valdez, AK---April 2011
- Collaborated with Valdez Arts Council and the Chugach School District to fund a performance by Evren Ozan, 13-year old Native flute musician/composer, Valdez, AK--April 2005
